Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tribute. Chun Li by Lhinton Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Tribute. Chun Li by Lhinton
This is my submission for the 25th anniversary of Street Fighter I decided to do with the 25 years of history theme.
My focus was the character Chun-Li whos father was murdered by M.Bison when she was very young this spurred her onto joining the police force and entering the 2nd street fighter tournament to get revenge.

Pencil and gold leaf on bristol board final touch ups done in photoshop.

Please pay carefull attention to detail as I have added little clues within the imagery.

Thank you so much for your comment, I was abit apprehensive about writing my story at first but as with any piece of art its only when your completely honest that you can pull of a piece that captures true emotion. Again thank you your words mean so much.

Thank you for your truly humbling comment :) comfort zones in art are something I try to avoid by working tirelessly whenever using materials to get the result to a level that I am happy with being a perfectionist and competing against time is what helps me and spurs me on :)

No problem, and yeah, it's nice to see some focus on her human side and not just her thighs.

By the way, IŽd like to do a question: did you imagine the DoraiŽs birthday and death or you get it from some official source?

Very nice work here! Excellent work here done on the shading and the details on the faces of both versions of Chun-Li here! I really like how you used simple and traditional mediums to actually do something as deep as this! Over all great detail in the flowers too, they almost look photo-realistic with the stems and the pedals, and even the patterns on them too.

As for the clues... well... I've noticed what appears to look like Akuma's head on the rose stem on the card, and I see the Japanese character symbol for Go Hibiki's Shun Goku Shatsu from Pocket Fighter on the headstone!

Very nice!
